Park ranger

A park ranger position is often viewed as a dream job for people who are wanting to work outside and in nature, and in particular for those introverts that are looking for a role when they only need to have minimal contact with others. In fact, some ranger position in the US means working in incredibly remote places and staying in touch with other primarily by radio for long periods of time.

Of course, its role that requires a lot of outside work, but it will be combined with inside office duties as well such as writing up reports or analyzing the data you collect.

Tree surgeon

A tree surgeons job is to remove dead branches and cut back tree, so they continue to thrive. Of course, it’s a job that requires not only a love for the outdoors but also a love of heights. In fact, tree surgeons will do the majority of their practical work strapped into a harness attached to the top of a tree, something that means physical fitness is a crucial part of this job.

Also, it is vital to remember that like many other positions such as professional athletes, tattooists,  and construction workers such as builders, landscapers, and scaffolders, tree surgeons only have a limited lifespan in the profession. This is because the stress on the body, and in particular the joints can become too much over time,  forcing them to change career in mind life. Something that it is worth considering before you pick this as your chosen profession, no matter how much time it will allow you to work outside.
