Finding the career that is best suited to you can be a real challenge. We’re all different, and we’re all good at many different things. So, if you’ve decided you need to find a job that is physical, then these are some interesting career options that you should consider.

Events Technician

Events happen all the time, and there are many different people who work on them. There are people who look after the organisational side of things. There are performers. And just as important as all of them are the technicians. When there are people on the stage facing a crowd, they need to be seen and heard. This is only possible if all the technicians take the time to light the stage, set up the sound systems and hook up the screens. When the events are large, this is a physically demanding task.



Gardening and landscaping might not be the kinds of career paths that come to mind when you think about physical work. But that doesn’t mean that these jobs aren’t physical. Pulling up weeds, planting trees, and pruning shrubs are all physical tasks. That’s why landscapers have to be in such good physical condition to get the job done properly each and every day. If you enjoy looking after your own garden, this might be something that you are able to make a career out of in the future.



Rigging is a highly skilled job. When people are working at heights. There has to be riggers who go in before them to make sure that the place is safe to work in. So, the riggers will install platforms and other safety measures to make sure that it’s safe as it can be. This includes things like crane work, which can be a difficult and physical task in itself. It’s a varied job with lots of different tasks that are faced each day. Considering a career in rigging? Then this is what you should know.



Working on a building site is one of the most physically challenging jobs in the world. If you think about any of the largest and most famous buildings on the planet, they all had to be built. And even though technology and safety standards have improved, the physical task is pretty much the same. There is a great level of satisfaction that comes with being part of a team that is responsible for building a structure that will be used though. And there are always opportunities for qualified builders.



There are many different jobs in the world of sport. You don’t have to be a top athlete to find a career in the industry. There are plenty of other things that you can do. You could be a sports trainer for example. Then you might be able to work alongside top athletes without having to actually be one yourself. That’s just one example. You could teach young people, or you could even aim for the big time if that’s what you want to do. The options and opportunities are endless.
