If you don’t have a degree, it’s never too late to go out and get one. Apply to university, and four years from now your prospects will have greatly improved.

Alternatively, you can think about setting up your own business. Arguably, this is one of the simplest ways to boost your income and go from rags to riches. With no one to work for, there’s no cap on how much you can make in your chosen industry. You may want to have a look at starting a shop online. This is one of the easiest businesses to run.
