I’m posting a job for a friend, who is the president and editor in chief of a high-end regional culture magazine here in San Francisco.

HELP WANTED

This could be a fun job for a recent MSJ grad looking to break into publishing, but not for someone looking to get clips asap. Basically, it’s Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada—the position supports the boss lady, though it does provide the opportunity to move into editorial in the future. Ideal candidates are polished, interested in the arts, local food and design scene, fashion, and cultural figures in SF. You’d be repping the mag on the phone, at shoots, at events, during production. Most importantly, you support the EIC.
